Cuisine American
- 1 tube pizza dough cut into 33 pieces
- Mozzarella cheese sticks cut into 33 pieces
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cut the pizza dough into 33 pieces, about 1-inch each.
Work each piece of dough into a disc shape and place a piece of the cheese stick in the center. Close up the dough, pressing the seams shut, so it's like a little ball.
Arrange the pieces of dough on a parchment lined baking sheet to form the Christmas tree shape. Start with the tree leaving enough room for the trunk. Make a row of 7 balls of dough. They should be touching. Then follow that with a row of 6, then 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. You should have 4 dough balls left. Make 2 rows of 2 to form the tree trunk. In a small bowl, whisk together the 1/4 cup melted butter, 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt and 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning in a small bowl.
Brush the butter on the dough balls with a pastry brush.
Bake 16-18 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
Serve with a marinara sauce for dipping and enjoy!
