Ingredients

  • 4 gallons water
  • 2 ounce bottle of Root Beer Extract (it usually is in the baking isle.)
  • 4 lbs granulated sugar (or 8 cups)
  • 5 lbs of dry ice

Instructions

  • In a 5 gallon cooler, add 4 gallons of water and 1 bottle of root beer extract.
  • Add the sugar, and stir with a very long spoon.
  • Crush the dry ice with a hammer, and add it to the cooler. Remember to be careful. Dry ice is fun, but you can easily get burned!  Use hot pad holders, or thick gloves when you are touching it.
Let it bubble for 15-20 minutes (until dry ice is gone).
