Easy Slushies For Summer
I remember when we lived at the farm and took care of lots of kids! The summers can get very hot in Oregon. We had a blend of Foster Kids and our own kids. We put up a huge swimming pool and made lots of summer memories.
It seems like in the summer your grocery bill goes up more than it does in the fall. Kids can eat all day long. But this recipe is a great inexpensive way to keep your kids hydrated with a delicious slushy. Big smiles are guaranteed! 🙂
So easy to make and you do not need any special syrups to make them. If your family enjoys the Sonic Slushes this will cost you less and they taste even better.
WHY SHOULD YOU MAKE KOOL-AID SLUSHIES…..
- A Refreshing Treat….it is so hot where we live this is a great way to cool down in the summer.
- Kid-Friendly…..let your kids help make them.
- Variety of Flavors…choose from so many Kool-Aid flavors.
- Affordable….so much cheaper to make it at home.
- A fun summertime treat in just a few minutes.
YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING INGREDIENTS….
- Blender
- Ice cubes

I know some people like to add club soda, but I like to keep it simple, but you could try adding a scoop of ice cream to the mixture. The ice cream gives it a more creamy texture.
