Homemade Chocolate Peanut Butter Easter Eggs

Spring is in the air and the Easter is almost here. What are some of your traditions. We always had an Easter Egg Hunt plus attended many Easter Egg Hunts. It was fun to see the kids running all over gathering those eggs. Now I fill eggs for my grandkids for the Easter Egg Hunt and the family circle continues.
Some of the memories I have of Easter are coloring eggs, going on an Easter egg hunt at the park and our Easter baskets full of yummy candy on Sunday morning.
There are many favorite Easter recipes to make and these Chocolate Peanut Butter Eggs are a tradition every year. They are so easy to make and Homemade if always better! 🙂
You have to admit that there’s something about the combination of peanut butter and chocolate that everyone loves.
This recipe is seriously so yummy! These Chocolate peanut butter eggs will be devoured so quickly and your family will be begging for more.
INGREDIENTS…..

- butter
- powdered sugar
- vanilla
- chocolate
- butter
Adults will love these Chocolate Peanut Butter Easter eggs as much as kids do, so you better make a lot! (I made 50 today!!)

Ingredients
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 16 ounces chocolate
- 2 tbsps butter
Instructions
- In a bowl combine peanut butter and butter together with a mixer. Then add powdered sugar and vanilla.
- Melt chocolate in a double boiler, or in a microwave in 30-second increments. Add 2 tablespoons of butter to the chocolate and stir to combine.
- Remove peanut butter eggs from the refrigerator and gently dip each one into the chocolate. Place the dipped eggs onto the waxed paper. Allow the chocolate to set in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes. ENJOY!!
