Garlic Bread Spread
What’s better than regular butter? Garlic butter! This spread has so much savory garlic flavor. It’s quick to stir together, and it lasts for days in the fridge. Do not buy the stuff in the stores anymore!!
We love using ours on garlic bread, melted on steak and chops or just spread on fresh crusty bread.
Don’t skip on the butter……the MORE garlic the better. To determine how much garlic powder to use in place of fresh garlic, remember that 1/8 teaspoon of garlic powder approximately replaces one garlic clove.
A Little Tip….When dried, parsley reduces to half its fresh volume, 2 tablespoons of dried parsley will replace 1/4 cup of fresh.
Preheat your oven to 425°F. Spread garlic butter on your favorite bread. For cheesy garlic bread, you can add one-fourth of a cup of mozzarella or Parmesan cheese. Bake on a baking sheet until toasted and lightly brown, about 5 minutes.
CAN YOU FREEZE THIS GARLIC BUTTER???
Definitely! Garlic Butter Spread can stay in the freezer for up to 6 months. Make a big batch of garlic butter to freeze using ice cube trays, then just pop out a cube out to thaw in the fridge when you need it.
I’m pretty confident that this will be your new favorite way to make garlic bread. Scroll down and let’s make some….
